The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) provides various opportunities and events to explore academic excellence through inclusive pedagogy. Our Inclusive Teaching Events and Workshops are crafted to empower educators, fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated, and every learner can thrive. Our Events:
- Inclusive Pedagogy Workshops: Our workshops are designed to help equip you with practical strategies and instructional
tools to aid the implementation of inclusive teaching practices in your classrooms.
- Inclusive Pedagogy Panel Discussion Series: Our Inclusive Pedagogy Panel Discussion Series delve into important topics in inclusive
pedagogy as well as focus on current trends, challenges, and innovations in inclusive
teaching and learning.
- Inclusive Pedagogy Courses (IPC): Our Inclusive Pedagogy Course (IPC) aims to foster inclusive teaching practices and
pedagogical perspectives by exploring critical pedagogies and frameworks that disrupt
traditional teaching models through self-reflection, discussions, and more.
- Inclusive Pedagogy Milestone:The Teaching Milestone Program is a CELT initiative that offers a diverse range of workshops, courses, and experiences that provide teaching development for faculty and instructional staff. Our Inclusive Pedagogy Milestone allows learners to become agents of change and contribute to building a more connected world, one where everyone's voice is valued, and differences are celebrated.
Inclusive Pedagogy Course (IPC)
This course offers a safe space to explore the fundamental concepts of inclusive pedagogy with fellow colleagues and peers. The course will also explore critical pedagogies and frameworks that disrupt traditional teaching models. Through interactive discussions and thought-provoking activities, participants will gain tools to challenge bias, promote equity, and foster inclusive environments in both personal and professional settings.

Inclusive Pedagogy Milestone
The Inclusive Pedagogy Milestone focuses on inclusive teaching practices and principles at the higher education level. Starting with out Inclusive Pedagogy Course (IPC), topics such as positionality, anti-racist pedagogy, accessibility, and more will be covered to introduce key topics and terminology within diversity, equity, and inclusivity studies. The achievement of the Inclusive Pedagogy Milestone empowers learners to act as catalysts for positive change, fostering a more interconnected world where every voice is appreciated, and diversity is embraced.
