From nurses and doctors pulling double shifts, to retail workers keeping our stores open, to first responders protecting our safety — they've been going "far beyond" for us all.
ABOUT THE DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARD
Established in 1983, the Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes and pays tribute to outstanding Stony Brook University alumni whose exceptional achievements and careers reflect the highest values embraced and promoted by both Stony Brook University and the Stony Brook University Alumni Association.
The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest and most prestigious award the Stony Brook Alumni Association honors to its alumni.
With the ongoing pandemic, we decided to take pause and hold off on the announcement until a time when we can celebrate and recognize our honoree safely and most appropriately together. Stay tuned!
