The Office of Research Security (ORS) offers training sessions and webinars to help faculty, staff, and students understand research security requirements and sponsor expectations. Topics include federal research security requirements, disclosure obligations, international research engagements, research data protection and cybersecurity, export controls, and other emerging research security issues.
Whether you are new to research security or seeking guidance on evolving federal requirements and university processes, ORS training provides practical information, best practices, and opportunities to engage directly with ORS staff. Training sessions are open to the Stony Brook research community, and registration require NetID authentication.
