New incoming freshmen and transfer students in their starting this Fall 2026 as their first term can follow the steps below based on the timing of their decision if they do not plan on attending SBU:

• Prior to 8/24/2026 -  alert the Undergraduate Admissions Office
• Between 8/24/2026 and 9/4/2026 by 4PM - submit the First Semester Withdrawal Form (will be made available on 8/24/2026)
• After 9/4/2026 4PM - complete the Undergraduate Semester Withdrawal Form as outlined for continuing students
