Enables researchers to move their inventions out to the real world and help people

Help form new ventures around new technology-based products and services, based on federally funded research, that grow and provide good jobs.

NB: Faculty members don’t have to give up their faculty positions. The program’s history has shown that nearly every lab has at least one graduate student interested in taking a lab discovery or invention through the commercialization pathway.
