Undergraduate Programs

A few decades ago, the electrical and computer engineering discipline was virtually nonexistent. Today, it is one of the most rapidly growing fields in engineering. Build your future with a Bachelor’s in Engineering degree in computer or electrical engineering.

Computer Engineering

Circuit Board

The curriculum of computer engineering provides a solid education in the fundamentals of electrical engineering and an extensive study of digital hardware and software. In the first two years students take courses that prepare them with the necessary background in mathematics, physics and the fundamental concepts and principles in circuit theory, electronics, digital systems, embedded microprocessor system design and computer science. In the third and fourth years, students take courses in computer architecture, software engineering, operating systems, and software tools.

Accelerated BE/MS Program

The goal of the accelerated degree programs is to provide students, who are seeking greater challenge or more diverse range of studies, with advanced courses that will suitably prepare them for graduate studies or a variety of advanced professional positions. Accelerated programs are as rigorous as the current BE and MS programs taken separately. Students in the accelerated programs take two graduate courses during their senior year. The courses are used to meet the requirements of two electives in the BE program as well as satisfy 6 of the 30 credits required by the master’s degree. This allows students to complete both the BE and MS degrees in 5 years.
