Biography
Xing Wang is an associate Professor and Master Supervisor of College of Liberal Arts of Hubei University. He was born and raised in Wuhan ,Hubei, China. He received his M.A. in Hubei University in 2002, and his Ph.D. in Wuhan University in 2009, both major in Chinese Classic Literature. His research interests include Chinese Classic Literature, especially the poetry of Tang and Song dynasties, Chinese Characters and Culture, and Chinese calligraphy. His regular course offerings in Hubei University include Chinese Classic Literature History, Chinese Classic Literature Panorama, Modern Chinese Language, Poetry Appreciation. At Stony Brook he is working on the research of Chinese Characters and Culture, and the Mutual Relationships between Chinese Characters on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
