SUNY Cross Registration
The SUNY Cross Registration Agreement allows eligible students to take courses at another SUNY institution when needed courses are not available at their home campus and may delay degree completion.
Through this agreement, undergraduate full-time matriculated students may enroll in degree-applicable courses at a participating SUNY campus without paying additional tuition to the host institution. Tuition is paid only to the home campus.
Course enrollment and final grades are recorded on the student’s academic record. By submitting a cross-registration request, the student authorizes the exchange of academic information between institutions for processing purposes.
If cross registration is not approved or available, the student may consider enrolling at another institution at their own expense and should review transfer equivalencies in advance.
Definitions:
- Home Institution: The institution where the student is matriculated
- Host Institution: The SUNY institution where the student plans to take a course
