What is Rematriculation?
Rematriculation is the process by which an undergraduate student returns to the University after a break in enrollment to complete their degree.
In most cases, a student must rematriculate if:
- The student has not been enrolled for two consecutive fall and spring semesters
- The student previously withdrew from the University and intends to return
Before submitting the rematriculation form, students should be aware of the following:
- The student will typically resume in the same academic program in which they were previously enrolled
- If the student wishes to change majors, acceptance into the new program is required
- The student may be subject to current degree requirements in effect at the time of return
- Students who have earned their bachelor degree would not be eligible for rematriculation, as they would not be returning to complete the same degree. To pursue new degree programs, please contact the appropriate Admissions Office.
Students are strongly encouraged to consult with an academic advisor to review degree progress and confirm next steps.
Students who have been suspended/dismissed would need to pursue Conditional Reinstatement prior to being re-matriculated.
Fee for Rematriculation : $50.00

Academic Standing
- The student’s academic history may impact eligibility to return. Additional review or waiting periods may apply.
Curriculum Changes
- The student will be held to the degree requirements in effect at the time of rematriculation unless otherwise approved.
