The New York State/United University Professions Joint Labor-Management Executive Committee (NYS/UUP JLMC) is pleased to announce a series of upcoming workshop opportunities presented virtually via Zoom to further promote professional development for UUP-represented employees.
In the Global Cultural Diversity: Communicating Effectively in a World of Difference workshop, participants will learn about the differences and similarities in key national cultural systems represented in our increasingly global workplace. In the Developing the Leader Within workshop, participants will build their unique strengths as a leader to inspire, motivate, and develop others through a person-centered approach. Lastly, in the Diversity: Learning How to Leverage Difference at Work workshop, participants will acquire awareness and understanding of a variety of dimensions of diversity including but not limited to demographics.
Global Cultural Diversity: Communicating Effectively in a World of Difference: March 10, March 25, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm- presented virtually via Zoom.
Developing the Leader Within: March 16, March 23, April 6, April 20, May 4, May 18, & June 15, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - presented virtually via Zoo.
Diversity: Learning How to Leverage Difference at Work: March 17, March 31, & April 8, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - presented virtually via Zoom.
