Human Resources is committed to supporting Stony Brook University’s mission by developing and assisting the University’s most valuable resource … each and every one of you! As part of this continued commitment to Stony Brook’s faculty and staff, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching a new HR website on Thursday, July 1st!

The new website was built with each of you, and your unique needs, in mind. It will foundationally serve as a hub for all HR-related information, and is intended to provide a seamless and easily navigable user experience to utilize at every stage of your Stony Brook experience.

We have worked hard behind-the-scenes, and listened to your feedback, to create a new site that will provide each faculty and staff member with an engaging experience, updated content, news, training opportunities, and more. We understand how important it is for you to have quick and easy access to the information you need.

The new site offers an enhanced experience for every Stony Brook faculty and staff member at each stage of their journey:

• New Employees - A succinct and all-encompassing page for new hires to visit as they begin their journey at SBU.

• Current Employees - Workplace learning, career growth, and wellness resources to strengthen your career and professional life at SBU.

• Former Employees - Guides for employees who are beginning the transition to retirement, as well as information on staying current, connected and involved with SBU.

• Researchers - with resources geared towards supporting the full life-cycle of your research and a portal tailored specifically to the hiring of postdocs.
