If a test guide is available, it will be indicated on the examination announcement.
As open-competitive exam updates are made available, they will be posted on the tentative schedule below.
To be considered for these positions, candidate must have a reachable score on the Plant Utilities Engineer 1 and/or Plant Utilities Assistant 1 decentralized exam list.
In addition to submitting an electronic application, please complete and submit an Application for NYS Examinations and Supplemental Questionnaire.
There will be no written test as the score is rated on education and experience. The NYS Examinations and Supplemental Questionnaire (NYS APP 3) is your test.
