Dr. Farquharson is the Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Services, specializing in mental health care for those with marginalized identities. He has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, with interest in service delivery for underserved populations. He serves as a member of the New York State Office of Mental Health’s Statewide Multicultural Advisory Committee. In addition, he serves as a Faculty Diversity Ambassador for his department, and chairs the Graduate Medical Education Committee’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
