Additive manufacturing/3D printing
Research and development of new materials for 3D printing, including functionalization of 3D printed surfaces and enhancing durability of 3D printed materials, is key to finding new applications and new opportunities for additive manufacturing, from infrastructure to biomedical devices and implants. Our research addresses this area in a number of important ways, utilizing our synthesis and advanced characterization tools.
