Strengthening Skills in STEM
The Institute holds 20 Saturday morning classes for each grade level during the academic year. Classes are two and a half hours long, and additional time is allocated for special projects outside of the classroom.
There are three grade levels, each with a capacity of 26-33 participants. The groupings include 5th and 6th graders, 7th and 8th graders, and 9th and 10th graders.
For each group, several expert educators collaborate to set forth the syllabus, pedagogy, design of challenging problems, activities, and assessment instruments.
