OPERATIONS ALIGNMENT  TASK FORCE

Scope

The goal of the Operations Alignment Task Force is to identify ways to operate and provide seamless support as one campus – by eliminating unnecessary duplication of services and expenses as well as creating opportunities for better alignment and best-in-class support. SBU must be a prudent steward of limited resources while providing effective support to the academic, research and healthcare enterprises.

Key Priorities

• Improve efficiency and overall operation of services across campus;

• Eliminate process redundancies by optimizing practices in Procurement and Human Resources; and

• Contain overall costs of operations
