Leo Wan
Major: multidisciplinary studies
I am currently a senior majoring in MTD with biology/chemistry/theatre concentration
and on a pre-med track. Stony Brook University has provided me with many wonderful
opportunities to achieve my dream to become a physician. As a science geek at heart,
I serve as an undergraduate TA for the General Chemistry sequence, I also work as
a research assistant in Stony Brook Medicine neurology department and participate
in the pilot study of the neuroprotective effects of hydrogen and minocycline in acute
ischemic stroke. Since last Fall semester, I started working as a research assistant
in the theatre department under the mentoring of Professor Baldwin due to my interest
in VR and stage design, and served as an Undergraduate TA for classes such as THR
216 & THR 103. As a fitness fanatic and impassioned to truly help others, I also volunteer
at Fit Kids For Life by Stony Brook Children's Hospital as a fitness trainer.
