Application timeline for the Academy of Civic Life 

 

JanuarY–FEBRUARY

Information sessions will be held in Brentwood High School, and students will be recruited to apply for the Academy of Civic Life.

MARCH 1

High school applications open.

MARCH 31

High school applications close at 11:59pm ET. After the applications close, guidance counselors will be contacted to submit the transcripts of the students who applied, and references listed in the applications will be sent a link to a short online form.

EARLY APRIL

Selected applicants may be contacted for an interview.

MID APRIL

Offers will be sent to accepted students, and waitlisted students will be notified.

Early May

 Information session for accepted students and families.

Early May

Waitlist invitations will be sent. 

Mid MAY

Signed acceptance forms due from students and their parents or guardians. 
Offers sent to any waitlisted applicants who are offered a spot in the program.

EARLY JUNE

Signed acceptance forms due from students who were accepted from the waitlist.
