Join President Andrea Goldsmith for an engaging conversation with Eden Figueroa, director of Stony Brook University’s Quantum Institute.

Quantum technologies are poised to transform the way we communicate, compute and share information. Discover how groundbreaking advances in quantum networking at Stony Brook are helping shape that future.

Eden Figueroa, PhD, is an endowed presidential professor of physics in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a joint appointment with Brookhaven National Laboratory, and is a recognized national and international leader for his research and entrepreneurship in quantum networking. His pioneering research is advancing the development of a quantum internet, with applications that could transform communications, computing and cybersecurity.

A reception will follow, providing an opportunity to connect with additional Stony Brook researchers and explore their latest discoveries.
