Sign Up for Direct Deposit — it offers you greater flexibility in choosing a financial institution and a cost-effective method of servicing your banking needs.

STATE EMPLOYEES
The completed form can either be submitted during New Employee Orientation or emailed directly to state_payroll@stonybrook.edu.If applicable, the joint account holder must also sign the form.
RF EMPLOYEES
RF employees can enroll in direct deposit online at www.rfsuny.org/selfservice. To get started you will first need to create a password and validate your account. Visit Direct Depositfor instructions on how to sign up for Direct Deposit online.
Enrolling for the First Time?
Employees may enroll in direct deposit by completing a new form and submitting it to:

RF EMPLOYEES:

Form: Direct Deposit (RF)*
*If applicable, the joint account holder must also sign the form.
Additional Enrollment Documentation
Deposit into Checking:
To deposit your net salary into your checking account:
STATE EMPLOYEES: OSC suggests attaching a voided personal check to the enrollment form.
RF EMPLOYEES: Attach a voided personal check to the enrollment form.
Deposit into Savings:
If you wish to deposit your check into your savings account, the account number and bank routing number must be provided on the enrollment form.
Deposit into Multiple Accounts:
Employees may choose up to seven direct deposits.
Once enrolled, you will receive a direct deposit statement on payday. The net amount on this statement is the amount that was credited to your account.
Already Enrolled?
Add, Change, or Cancel
Employees may add, change or cancel their direct deposit by completing a new form and submitting it to:

RF EMPLOYEES: rf_payroll@stonybrook.edu
Changing Accounts or Institutions?
When changing accounts and/or financial institutions, keep both accounts open until the new account has been credited with your net salary. In the period the change is submitted, the deposit to the old account will continue until the direct deposit to the new account takes place.
Changing Agencies?
When an employee moves from one agency to another, their Direct Deposit enrollment is transferred.
