About Us

Earthstock is Stony Brook University’s annual Earth Day celebration, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community to highlight sustainability, environmental awareness, and climate action. Through interactive events, educational programs, and campus-wide initiatives, Earthstock showcases Stony Brook’s commitment to environmental stewardship while inspiring everyday sustainable practices. The event reflects the university’s broader sustainability efforts, from energy conservation and recycling to research, education, and community engagement, all aimed at building a more sustainable future.
