The Manufacturing Committee of the HIA-LI is having a panel of experts to help you learn more about available technologies and how to decide ideal technologies for your manufacturing company.
Recently, Wall Street Journal has reported that for the first time in U.S. history, manufacturers are hiring more employees with college degrees than employees with none-college-degrees. Hiring for manufacturing is shifting towards higher education. Why is this shift happening?
The answer is technology and the immediate need for digital transformation at any manufacturing organization. In this digital age, manufacturers are trying to benefit from technology more than ever to be more competitive in the workplace. As technology is becoming more important for manufacturing, learning about new technologies is also becoming more important for manufacturing companies in the U.S.
This is the first Manufacturing Committee of HIA-LI meeting in 2020 hosted by Long Island Chapter of IAMCP. Technology Committee of HIA-LI will be with us as well. For more information on the event, proceed to "Register".
