EV CHARGERS
As part of MAPS' commitment to providing sustainable transportation options, we offer the use of 13 electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) to university students, faculty, staff and visitors. The EV charging stations on the SBU campus operate on the ChargePoint platform and are commercial level 2 stations.
PRICING DETAILS
HOURLY RATE = $1.86/hour (1-Hour Minimum, 24-Hour Maximum)
Note: Use of EV Charging Station parking spaces requires a station wand to be plugged into a vehicle at all times. EV Charging Station parking spaces located inside of metered parking lots only require EV Charging Station payment, and not payment to the metered parking lot pay station.
IDLE CHARGING FEE:
$2.50/hour for vehicles that are fully charged but remain parked in the EV spot. This charge will begin after a grace period of 30 minutes.
A ChargePoint account is required before you can begin charging on campus.
