Niya Grozeva carried out her clever investigation of a well-known optics toy while a freshman at Stony Brook in
the Women in Science and Engineering program. She graduated May 2011 with a BS in Geology summa cum laude.
Niya is currently a graduate student in a joint MIT / Woods Hole Geology and Geophysics program. She holds an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (2013). Niya's research interests include fluid-rock interactions and carbon cycling in subseafloor hydrothermal systems. Check out her research summary to learn more. |
