ALL ABOUT ME

I love science, because when we explore different
parts of it we learn how to help each other and how the
world around us works. Until I was about five I got sick
every other week and had to miss the activities that my
other peers were a part of. When I stopped getting sick
out of the blue, it made wonder what had happened.

As I grew up I decided that doctors were very
intelligent and that I wanted to become one. Then I
started to take science courses and I've been enjoying
learning about molecules and genetics and etc. I have
also noticed that I totally adore children, so I figured
that a perfect job would be one where I could help
children. That's how my wish to become a pediatrician
came about.

I don't really have hobbies which involve science,
but I have volunteered in a hospital before and can't
wait to start in Stony Brook. I was also part of the
H.E.A.R.T. ( HIV and AIDS activist) club. We didn't
really do research about AIDS or anything like that,
instead we tried to educate our peers about HIV and
AIDS. We also did a lot of volunteer work in Hospices
and soup kitchens, so that was another hobby that I
enjoyed during my high school years. My other hobbies
are basic. I like to read when I have free time, I like
to listen to music, watch TV, but my most favorite one
is to talk... :)
