Sunrise Technology Machine Learning & Self-Driving Summer Program
Sunrise Technology has launched their summer program in partnership with Stony Brook
University LIMEP and CEWIT. Long Island high school students will have the opportunity
to gain hands-on experience in programming and machine and learn from industry experts
in a fun and collaborative environment.
Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (AERTC)
The Advanced Energy Center is a partnership of academic institutions, research institutions,
energy providers and industrial corporations. Together they pursue pioneering energy
research and deploy education and technology with a focus on efficiency, conservation,
renewable energy and nanotechnology applications for new and novel sources of energy.
Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT)
CEWIT is a government-industry-academic partnership leading the next wave of the wireless
and information technology revolution. The Center conducts world-class interdisciplinary
research in the emerging critical technologies, fosters new enterprise development,
addresses the technology worker shortage and has superior experience handling the
needs of industry.
Long Island Manufacturing Extension Partnership (LIMEP)
LIMEP is Empire State Development’s regional Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) for
Long Island. The center's drives the development and overall success of Long Island's
small-to-medium-sized manufacturers through strategic guyidance, operational support,
partner collaboration, and sharing industry knowledge and resources.
Strategic Partnership for Industral Resurgence (SPIR)
SPIR was established on July 1, 1994, by the State of New York to utilize the extensive
engineering resources of the Engineering Colleges and Programs atStony Brook University to help industry in the State compete more effectively. SPIR provides technically
advanced multidisciplinary assistance to help companies improve their market posture,
retain existing employees and create new jobs.
