WINTERING: A SEASON OF REST

Online Workshop (Seasonal)

In this restorative workshop inspired by Katherine May’s Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times, we explore the transformative power of embracing rest during life’s inevitable seasons of hardship. May’s beautiful and meditative writing reminds us that wintering—whether caused by illness, loss, or personal transition—is not a failure, but a natural part of life’s cycles. In this workshop, we’ll reflect on how we can lean into our own “wintering” moments, find grace in times of rest, and reclaim the wisdom that can be found in solitude and quiet. Through guided exercises, journaling and mindfulness practices, you’ll discover tools for navigating difficult times, cultivating patience with yourself and learning to embrace rest as a necessary step toward renewal.

The workshop will be presented virtually on two dates; please register below.  Zoom link will be provided after regsitering.

  • Monday, January 6, Noon to 1 pm
  • Wednesday, January 15, Noon to 1 pm
