Employee of the Month Program recognizes Stony Brook University Hospital employees who have exemplified outstanding service through their work and consistently model our iCARE Core values.

Stony Brook Star Recognition and Reward Program expresses appreciation to Stony Brook University Hospital employees who model our core values of iCARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence) and who strive to exceed the expectations of our patients, families, co-workers and others.

Stony Brook University Hospital Career Service Recognition Program recognizes and rewards our valued staff for their service and commitment to Stony Brook Medicine at key service milestones (one year, five years and every five-year milestone afterward).

Retirement Recognition Process formally thanks and recognizes our Stony Brook University Hospital retirees for their dedication and contributions and to wish them well in retirement, with a career feature and a clap out on the retiree’s last day.

Patient Experience Quarterly Recognition Award recognizes departments/units across all service lines with an Overall Rating HCAHPS quarterly score that is most improved as compared to the department’s score from the previous quarter.
