Steps to complete your application
No application documents or copies/images of documents will be returned to the applicant
or sent to other institutions. We recommend that you request transcripts directly
from your institution(s) for your own records. Official transcripts may be duplicated

Admissions Requirements:
Each Health Sciences program has different admissions requirements, which may include specific courses, minimum g.p.a. and related health care experience. Before you apply, you should visit the Schools for details. You can also attend the information sessions that are held throughout the year.

International Applicant Information
The process for collection of documentation is an entirely online process through Visa and Immigration Services. If appropriate, you will receive an email to check your SOLAR account and begin the application process under the heading "Visa and Immigration Services." Please follow all directions carefully. TOEFL/IELTS
If your native or primary language is not English, you must take an English proficiency test. To be considered for admission, an applicant must present an acceptable score on the Duolingo, IELTS, TOEFL essential, TOEFL iBT are also acceptable.
The minimum scores are as follows:
iBT : Internet-based test 90
IELTS: Overall score of 7 with no subsection below 6.
The Stony Brook institutional code for the TOEFL test is 2548. For the IELTS test, it is 5366.
Transcripts
For institutions attended abroad, an evaluation by appropriate agency to determine US equivalencies, official transcript and translation are required. Transcripts from institutions outside the U.S. must be evaluated by a NACES member, www.naces.org, such as World Education Services (www.wes.org) . If you select the WES ICAP service, we will accept the copies of the transcript(s) WES sends to us as official.
