Dr. Ric S. McClendon serves as a senior leader within the Division of Student Affairs which plays a pivotal role in successfully transitioning our undergraduate and graduate students to Stony Brook and in strengthening students' connection, sense of belonging, and retention. Dr. McClendon is engaged in research and practice about restorative justice principles for colleges and universities and teaching undergraduate courses in college transition, leadership, and engagement.
