Biography
Matthew Salzano studies how people affect technology – and how technology affects people – in communication practices like public argument, debate, and protest. Salzano is at the forefront of interdisciplinary conversations about responsible uses of technology, especially artificial intelligence. His critical research interrogates new media technologies, user practices, and cultural trends that threaten to limit possibilities for diverse engagement.
