Biography
Dr. Lucian Manu is a board-certified attending psychiatrist and clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine. He is the Director of Neuromodulation in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, and the Founding Director of the Stony Brook Treatment Resistant Depression Program - a research and clinical service program for individuals suffering from complicated and difficult-to-treat mood disorders. Dr. Manu is the principal investigator for multiple pivotal studies using new therapies and devices Intra Nasal Ketamine and Esketamine, Intra Venous Ketamine, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) in the treatment of severe refractory mood disorders, and has published in the Journals of Brain Stimulation and NPJ Schizophrenia. He is also a member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians and the Clinical TMS Society.
