Biography

Professor Mueller's research mission is to foster a harmonious synergy between human intuition and artificial intelligence. He is well known for his work in interactive visual analytics, human-computer interaction, and data visualization. A significant aspect of his work also revolves around ensuring the fairness and impartiality of AI algorithms, where he aims to create technologies that empower users while upholding ethical standards and mitigating biases for a more inclusive and equitable digital future. He has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers which have been cited more than 13,000 times and Professor Mueller is member of the National Academy of Inventors and a Fellow of the IEEE.
