Biography
Professor Julie Burrill‘s work examines science communication challenges in legal and forensic contexts. She has trained many forensic scientists and experts in effective communication and testimony, as well as training attorneys on a broad range of forensic science topics. Her previous doctoral research as a Fulbright Scholar focused on “touch DNA” analysis. She has worked in research and casework labs, as well as for Medical Examiners and public defenders as a forensic scientist.
