Biography
Fred Friedberg’s research interests are chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia (FM), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR.) He is studying short-term cognitive-behavioral interventions for fatigue and pain. Friedberg has authored seven books and many scientific papers on CFS and FM. His research efforts are sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. He is founder and editor of the peer review journal: Fatigue: Biomedicine, Health and Behavior. Dr. Friedberg is also president of the International Association for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
