Deborah is senior leader of the University Advancement team, responsible for fundraising at Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Medicine. With over 30 years experience in the field, including 12 years at Stony Brook University, she helped lead the team in raising more than $630 million during Stony Brook's comprehensive campaign completed in 2018. Deborah has personally raised more than $55 million, including nine endowed chairs and professorships. Prior to joining Stony Brook in 2008, Deborah was a fundraiser at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic for 19 years.
