Biography
Alexander Orlov is the first environmental appointment in the Materials Science and Engineering Department and his principal research and teaching activities are in the development of novel materials for energy generation, structural applications and environmental protection. The majority of his research focuses on new ways to create and apply nanomaterials for solving challenging issues in environmental protection, sustainability, health, engineering, manufacturing and consumer safety.
