Yi Liu is an Assistant Professor of Data Science with the Department of Applied Mathematics & Statistics and the Department of Computer Science at Stony Brook University. Before that, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Florida State University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science at Texas A&M University in 2022, advised by Dr. Shuiwang Ji. He received his M.E. in Biomedical Engineering in 2015 and B.E. in Electronic Engineering in 2012, both from University of Science and Technology of China.
