Biography
Luis A. Marcos, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at Stony Brook Medicine. Dr. Marcos is a clinical researcher on tick-borne diseases for Suffolk county, the county with the highest absolute number of Lyme and Babesia cases, among other tick-borne diseases. Dr. Marcos is the Principal Investigator of a clinical trial of Lyme disease and with Babesia.
