Kerri Mahoney leads Stony Brook’s Center for Prevention and Outreach, an office dedicated to provide prevention, early intervention, education and outreach services on major public health concerns impacting college students, including but not limited to, substance abuse, mental health/suicide prevention, sexual/interpersonal violence, safer sex and health education. She has presented at numerous national and international conferences on the impact of peer education in college health and wellness and the benefits of harm reduction strategies.
