Biography
Dr. Scoco is a neurosurgeon and neurointensivist who focuses on minimally invasive surgical treatment of spinal pathology, surgery for neurotrauma including traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury or spine fractures. When she is not in the OR she is attending in the neurocritical care unit taking care of critically ill patients with neuropathological diagnoses such as subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, brain tumors, complex spinal pathology, neuromuscular disease, epilepsy and central nervous system infections. She prioritizes interdisciplinary care above all else and is passionate about various neurocritical care research topics such as managing autoregulation in neurotrauma patients and hemorrhagic stroke.
