Biography

Marianna Savoca leads campus-wide initiatives to scale career readiness and high-impact, career-relevant learning-integrated work experiences for all students / majors / degree levels. Her work crosses divisional lines, connecting career services with academic programs, enrollment management, advancement/alumni relations, economic development, and student affairs. Dr. Savoca’s expertise includes high-impact experiential learning, professional development for experiential educators, and career readiness for underserved students. She is Co-PI on grants of $2+ Million and a published author: A Good Job: Campus Employment as a High-Impact Practice (Stylus, 2018); Advancing Talent Development: Steps Toward a T-Model Infused Undergraduate Education (Business Expert Press, 2020), and Handbook for Student Affairs Administration – 5th Ed. (Jossey-Bass, 2023). She consults for college career services and experiential programs domestically and internationally, serves as an external evaluator, and is engaged in research and grant writing about student career readiness through experiential education. She served as president of the Society for Experiential Education from 2020-2022, a global organization of present and aspiring experiential educators.
