Biography
John Fleagle’s research addresses the evolution of monkeys, apes and humans in Africa and Asia, the evolutionary history of New World Monkeys, the ecological comparison of primate communities, and comparative primate morphology. Fleagle’s research involves paleontological field research in Africa, South America and Asia. He is the author of the textbook Primate Adaptation and Evolution and the 2022 recipient of the Charles Darwin Lifetime Achievement Award.
