Welcome to the Stony Brook University Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) website! Our mission is to foster a supportive and inclusive community that empowers underrepresented minority students to achieve excellence in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). At Stony Brook LSAMP, we are committed to providing our students with transformative opportunities, including research experiences, academic support, professional development, and networking with peers and mentors. Through our collaborative efforts, we aim to increase the diversity of students successfully completing STEM degrees and advancing to leadership roles in their chosen fields.
