What is Meditation?

Meditation involves time spent quietly focusing our busy minds in order to bring attention to what our present moment is, rather than pondering the past or guessing about the future. With a consistent meditation practice, we are training our minds to accept all that is going on for us right now, without our habitual cycle of judgment and story-telling, such as making up a lot of “what-if this happens tomorrow” or “I should have done that yesterday.” 

With meditation and mindfulness, we can find a calm balance that will guide and steady us during life’s complicated twists and turns.
