Biography:

In Gabriella’s time at Stony Brook, she plans on studying renewable fuel resources for internal combustion engines, and computational aerodynamic models. In Gabriella's free time, she likes to read, play guitar, and sing. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar, Gabriella participated in the partners for the future program at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and the high school research program at Brookhaven National Lab.

Leading the Future:

"I want to become the woman other young, ambitious Latinas can look to and say, “If she could do it, I can to.”

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

"I wanted the opportunity to grow not only as an engineer and researcher, but also as a young woman. I knew this program would help me become the best version of myself."

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"Do it. The worst thing they can say is no."
