Biography:

In Michael's time at Stony Brook, he plans on studying aerospace engineering, nuclear engineering, and mechanical systems research, with a focus on how these fields can expand technological frontiers and benefit society. In Michael’s free time, he likes to play video games, listen to music, stay active through sports, and spend time with friends.

Leading the Future:

"I want to push the boundaries of aerospace and nuclear engineering to create technologies that expand humanity’s reach, while mentoring others and fostering collaboration so future engineers can build on those innovations."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

"I chose to become a Simons STEM Scholar because it offers the chance to learn from world-class researchers, gain hands-on experience, and be part of a community that supports my ambition to make meaningful contributions in engineering."

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"If you’re passionate about discovery and want to challenge yourself in an environment that pushes you to grow, then apply. The program will give you the support, opportunities, and the community to help you succeed."
