Biography:

Spiros plans on studying quantum quantum computing & computational mathematics/engineering in their time at Stony Brook. In their free time, Spiros likes to listen to music, hang out with friends, go on bike rides, and play video games. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar, Spiros participated in their High School's Science Research Program. Spiros is most excited about meeting new people, joining clubs, and doing research!

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

“I chose to become a Simons STEM Scholar not only because of my passion for research, but also because of the strong family-like community present within the program that I know I can rely on and will help me achieve anything.”

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

“Show your passion for research while also emphasizing your personality and who you are in order to show that you are more than just academics.”
