Biography:

Andrew plans on studying exoplanets and astrogeology in their time at Stony Brook. In their free time, Andrew loves to write short science fantasy stories and study Astronomy. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar, Andrew did not participate in any previous research experiences. Andrew is most excited to meet new people just as passionate about whatever they may want to study and hopefully convert them to a Astronomy degree.

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

“I chose to be a Scholar because I'm passionate about my field. I want to change our understanding of the world and improve the usefulness and purpose of research”

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

“Be yourself. Let your passion and interest in research shine through!”
