The New York State Department of Health (DOH) announced at 3pm this afternoon that in order to avoid potential staffing issues and give healthcare workers more time to get boosted, the State will no longer enforce the booster requirement that had been scheduled to go into effect on Monday, February 21st. The DOH did not specify a future deadline. However, the original vaccination requirement for healthcare workers remains in effect.
If you have not gotten a booster and received notification that you are required to meet with Labor Relations, that meeting is canceled.
